ABC Daily Planner privacy information
Effective November 6, 2026.
Personal application and website
ABC Daily Planner is maintained for the owner's personal use. The informational website does not connect to the planner, ask for Google authorization, or receive planner records. Its proposed static pages contain no login, forms, analytics or advertising scripts. Cloudflare hosts these pages and may process ordinary website request information under its privacy policy.
Local records
The Windows application stores planner information and cached calendar information locally. Records may include tasks, subtasks, notes, recurring-task definitions, reminders, history, timers and attachments. User-created backups can contain additional copies.
Google Calendar
When the owner connects Google Calendar, the application requests permission to read the calendar list and view and manage calendar events. It uses this permission to display selected calendars, keep a local cache and synchronize supported calendar changes requested through the application. Calendar event permission includes creation, editing and deletion; the connection is not read-only. This Calendar connection does not request access to Gmail.
Google authorization tokens are stored locally using Windows current-user data protection. Offline authorization allows the application to renew access without repeated sign-in while Google continues to allow it. This protection does not prevent access by someone controlling an unlocked Windows account or computer.
Google Calendar information is used for user-facing calendar and planning features. The application does not offer a public feed of the owner's calendar through this website.
Optional AI features and ChatGPT connection
Ask ABC Planner sends the user's request to OpenAI to interpret supported planning commands. Relevant planner or cached calendar information can also be sent depending on the request and the processing path. Some read results are completed locally. Task-note retrieval requires an explicit request under the implemented rules.
The application sets the OpenAI API response-storage option to false. That setting alone is not a promise of zero provider retention. OpenAI's applicable terms, privacy policy and account data controls govern its processing. See OpenAI's privacy policy.
When the separate ChatGPT planner connection is enabled, its supported tools can return requested planner information to ChatGPT and perform authorized writes. Information returned to ChatGPT is processed by that service. This information website does not provide that connector or expose the local planner database.
Retention and disconnecting
Local caches, planner history and backups may persist until separately removed. Disconnecting Google authorization is not the same as deleting cached events or backups. Google authorization may also be revoked through the Google account's third-party access settings. Removing local records or backups requires a separate deliberate action; disconnecting does not erase every copy.
